Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I also take my parkrun wristband with ice details. It seems responsible.

Have worn my wristband 24/7 for years ( one of the originals from way back ) - not something I think about taking off or just keeping for a Saturday morning.

Sigh
:-)

I actually have one of these: theidbandco.com which I wear whenever running anywhere apart from parkrun, when I wear my barcode one.

I think these are better as ICE wristbands as you can choose whatever text you want:

Anyway, off for a 10-miler. Catch up later!

I have one that is aluminium and slips on to any watch strap, drawback is that they aren't cheap and they don't seem to have the Garmin sized one I have at he moment

Finally got round to Fake#4 late yesterday. Ran my original course in reverse, which actually barely changes the first and last parts, but makes the middle marginally easier.

After I finished, a woman led a horse past me. Although she told me she was taking her dog for a walk. There's enough horses round here for me to tell the difference, though.
