Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Is it too early to mention the C word yet?

parkrun HQ have asked ED's to start declaring for New Year and Christmas so the list will soon be growing.

Any left undecided in the middle of December will all be set to no.

We're having a Christmas event. It's important to me that we do. I spent a milestone birthday many miles from home a number of years ago. I also know for a fact that one of our regulars doesn't see anyone else on Christmas day, so if I only put it on for him, then it was worth it.

I've always (or at least since I started running) done an LSR on Xmas morning, it's 5 miles from the Mother-in-law's house to the Country park, I run there, provide a parkrun and then run back and I get back in time for a shower and dinner.

I've created a couple of maps again showing which events are on - they're both colour-coded which is of more help to NYD double hunters (the further apart the colours on the rainbow the further apart in time, so you're probably not going to manage an orange then a yellow):

PS I should have probably pointed out that you can turn layers on and off to make it more readable.

NB They only show the full 5K events - some junior parkruns are also operating both days.
