I spent a milestone birthday many miles from home a number of years ago. I also know for a fact that one of our regulars doesn't see anyone else on Christmas day, so if I only put it on for him, then it was worth it. I've always (or at least since I started running) done an LSR on Xmas morning, it's 5 miles from the Mother-in-law's house to the Country park, I run there, provide a parkrun and then run back and I get back in time for a shower and dinner.
