Happy G - it is really - it's just (x + fudge factor) / (x+y + another fudge factor) with the fudges bigger for smaller numbers.
Hi Fetch So does that mean the 'meh' votes are excluded/ignored?
And a no vote is treated as any of
- I really don't want that change because it impacts the way I use Fetch - I don't want you spending time on that instead of the features I do want - I can't see the point because I won't use it
Although I must admit, I've yet to see any of the first types implemented in a way that causes a problem. We may start to see tactical voting?
Although, as a one time mathematician (pure not statistics) I do think there is an inherent problem in the formula/process. The use of the lower bound of Wilson score confidence interval for a Bernoulli parameter on a standard normal distribution implies no weight to the number of responses.
But I prefer features & running to managing lists, so will not be submitting that one.

It had square roots in it! Simple to a mathematical genius like yourself perhaps!
The Fetchmeister is storming through the Feature list at the mo. Top work that man! G

Wow, that's one hell of an equation for a non-mathematician. The sort that leaves you thinking "I'm sure it works, but I'll never understand it".
I've just noticed that Lord Fetch himself has added some feature requests which are relatively highly ranked. Presume that was market testing rather than "This is a good idea, I wonder if Lord Fetch could code it"?
For me there are far too many entries in that list which relate to the various games, which I know are popular amongst many / some / a subset of users, but I have to "meh" those. In an ideal world they'd be segmented off from the "core" features of training logs / graphs / forum, but perhaps my view of "core" is different to others.

LOL, I know people love WSW or conquercise etc etc. They don't float my boat particularly - I prefer just to argue with people and drool over graphs

I just Meh most of the game ones larks. And same for any other site features that I don't use - swimming, biking etc. I don't do any of those, so I just Meh them all. I'm sure they're all useful for someone though! G

I do the same. If its for a part of the site I don't/won't use I Meh it. Otherwise its Yes or No depending on my opinion of whether or not it will enhance my Fetch experience/geekiness
