Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I have a feeling that Kate was always the favourite, although I could be wrong. It’s been such a long time since Peggy actually appeared.

I think Tom’s going to be pissed whatever. Because he’s just bought a house he can’t afford. Oops.

They want you to think that Kate might have got the lot!

Presumably the will is supposed to have said, £5K to split between everybody, £10K for a family holiday, £10K for previously mentioned rewilding totem pole...

... but what about the sale of assets, which can't be precisely quantified in the will. I assume she owned the house she and Kate lived in? And could anybody have looked at the contents of bank accounts yet, without probate (which takes 6 weeks - 3 months ish)?

Can't they all just ask to see the will? Aren't they meant to be public documents?

I wish the script writers did a tiny bit of research.

Fizz :-)
They’re not public until after probate has been granted.

And based on our one personal experience, although you can request the will, that doesn’t tell you anything about the value of the estate.

Did Peggy still own the pub or did she sell/give it to 'Mine's a Gand T' Lilian?

I don't give a fig about accuracy, I just want a good plot with lots of scheming.

Perhaps she’s left it all to the great-grandchildren. In a trust so none of the parents can get their hands on it. That’s going to really piss off Tom and Helen.

I'm sure that's exactly what Helen wants!

That shouldn't have followed on from Maz's post, regarding tonight's episode!
