Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I’m doomed!! (& I’ve not had any kids)

Thanks shades sometimes you can’t see the wood for the trees and I’m hoping working to reduce my stress will have a positive impact and weight loss can follow.

In the past I used to have a 24 inch waist. It was that when I got married almost 30 years ago. Not now! It's crept up to 27 inches! Mr Ness says its my body shape changing because of the weight training I do. 🤷‍♀️

my waist was always small in proportion to the rest of me - finding trousers to fit has always been a problem. It's definitely thickened with middle age spread though.

and as I've got older, weight is carried differently elsewhere - I never had a fat back before!

I’ve always had a bigger waist I’m a 32 inch waist with a BMI of 24.1. Would love to get it under 30 inch.

And I’m same as you n-r but I’m working on accepting that I cannot be what I used to be 20+ yrs ago. I’m listening to a podcast on comparison - comparing ourselves to others but also to our younger selves.

I have been many different weights & sizes over the years as I spent my teens to 40’s battling illness. So now is time to yes be healthy in food and life choices but to also accept and not fight (adding stress) it.

On that I’ve been weighing most days as normal for me, and where I was seeing an increase every time I’m now seeing decreases. I’m currently 1/2lb heavier than the beginning of the month but given I was 3.8lb heavier a couple of weeks ago I’m very happy. Let’s hope by official weigh in on Friday I’m about the same as today.
