Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I’m still sticking to my 2lb window. I keep thinking I should lose a bit more but my skin doesn’t shrink any more it just hangs 😂. Trying to get stronger instead 😁.

Has anyone else noticed an increase in weight (just a couple of pounds) following a race. It normally lasts a couple of days with me then it just disappears.

Jaks - quite normal to show a weight increase after a race. I've always assumed that as there would have been some level of dehydration during/post race your body reacts by holding onto a bit of extra fluid until it's confident that the extra fluid is not required. Couple of days and weight will return to normal. It's very clever really 🤣

Geordiegirl- it doesn't look like you have a lot to lose to get back to Pic A.

I have always found the same and interesting the podcast I listened too today was John Kelly talking about The Barkley and how he assess recovery in varying markers one of which is weight / fluid increase returning to normal.

Thanks both you’re very kind I just have a lot more fluff around my middle. I am determined to lose it. Sometimes it just clicks and I’m hoping this has clicked.

I don’t help myself today I’ve had 4 cups of tea: a small slice of bread and a poached egg. We are going out for pizza later which will address calories but not protein.

Morning guys. Off to the boat tonight so official weeks WI. Yesterday wasn’t good I didn’t have lunch, poached egg in small slice of toast for breakfast then pizza for tea as we were out for a family meal. The pizza is very Italian thin crust minimal topping,

As we’re away this weekend and in minimal planning I’ll work on eating well and focus on planning for the next few weeks.

Hope you’re all doing well.

You have such a busy life GG, so many occasions and temptations. Best to just eat as healthy as you can without compromising social family and friends stuff, which is very important.
