Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Great job MT and Totri.
Good luck Lammo on this coming week.

I started last Monday 16:8 trying to eat less which due to a run of asthma issues,OH being ill etc did not go well .Until yesterday when I managed a 1410 calorie day and have dropped 2lbs.So this week I plan to do better and run more:-)

Let’s do it FR! I similarly hit highest 92.9kg 31 Jan. Only tracked calories from 15 Feb (91.6kg). Today I am 86.8kg. BMR was 1950 now 1800. I am careful to not overplay the ‘active’ bit as I am sat on a chair a lot of the day and try not to use all my exercise calories!

Hey, thought I'd pop in here after Totriornottotri commented on my weight loss in another thread. I'm someone who's gone from near obese in the BMI scale down to at one stage, I could fit into 26" trousers (been a long, long time!!). Every so often I get motivated and the weight drops off. I started this year on Jan 1 after a celebratory glass of champagne at midnight. I've always been a regular drinker but managed to take a month off twice in my life to prove to myself I'm not an acolholic... Anyway, haven't had anything to drink since Jan 1. Lost 11kg and BMI down from 29.something to 25.5. Lost about 5kg in Jan, 5kg in Feb and going for the same in March.

Keep up the good fight everyone!

That’s awesome Azx. We are on similar journeys. Very similar start points and one month progress. That’s a real motivator to tell me it is possible without stupid 800 cal diets!
