Not quite inane, but ... a post came up about how in Big Town (or Tiny City) an area of (probably pretty sketchy) scrubland amidst houses in a traditionally deprived area has been turned into a small park by people on community payback. facebook.com Is joy unconfined at this asset for the community? Not exactly. One person's park is another's wildlife and biodiversity habitat destruction, apparently. Although it appears that many of the critics are not local, but from sometimes hundreds of miles away. |
