Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I can't imagine Adam Sandler in a "serious" role (I watched a trailer I think). Just can't take his face seriously! But... Carey Mulligan has never been in a bad film, has she? Certainly she has never been bad! G

No she hasn't 😀

I have never seen a Will Ferrel or Adam Sandler film, and I don’t plan to.

There are some great trashy, but funny movies with them both. Little Nicky (Rodney Dangerfield, Dana Carvey from Waynes World etc.) and Pixels (Josh Gad, Kevin Hart - gamer geeks comedy for me!) And Will Ferrell can be laugh out loud funny, and cringe making too of course - Elf, obviously (I love Zooey Deschanel, so there) and Story of Fire Saga (the Eurovision song contest parody - Rachel McAdams is great and it's just proper funny, imho!)

Sorry for lowering the tone! :-) G

I remember watching Carey Mulligan in "Blink", the Doctor Who episode, where I think she had her first major role and thinking that she was something special. She definitely doesn't do much wrong.

Indeed. I watched that and thought she was excellent. A short time later I watched My Boy Jack, with Daniel Radcliffe. I thought the actress playing his sister was good, and wouldn't you know it that was Carey mulligan! Seen her in a couple of plays too. Very, very good live.

Not DADHAT - I enjoyed that (and my old mate Ben was lead on the VFX for ILM).

Oh that one. Not sure I've seen a good review for that. Seems to have been a bit upstaged in the US by Love Lies Bleeding which looks like a similar film but done with less silliness.

I think I saw a trailer for that - was that the Drive Away Dolls x Iron Claw thing? Looked horrible
