Due to a back injury before Christmas only just getting back to training so mileage not really where it should be, but progress being made. I'm doing Wilmslow Half so that is the first major hurdle, still a few weeks to get up to distance/pace for that (fingers crossed)

SmileyBob....I wouldn't miss a local marathon! I do far more maras than ultras! Finding ultras I won't get lost on can be quite a challenge.....I require a nice warm sunny day please....As my old dear came to watch last year, & she was like a drowned rat!! :P She wants to come again, but only if nice weather!

I'd sooner have last years conditions again than a heat wave :)

I followed Psimon last year for 3:15 last year and he was absolutely spot on with his pacing.

Nope. It wasn't meant to sound flippant or anything either - I'd have done a slower time if it was a 25 deg heat wave I'm sure. Just a normal April day would be good this year though.

How is everyone's training going?

ankle is getting sore, only on my longer runs after about 10 miles, but also after wards. Possible tendonitis, but just going to push on, if it gets any worse, I have a friend on a sports rehab course who can check it out for me. Otherwise training is going great, and adding more miles into my plan. Hows yours ndellar?
