I definitely ran earlier 2nd time and was less cautious. Was a few days after 6w check with Oliver but after Jack was only 4w. (I didn't have a c-sec with either which would delay things).

Well, I have my 6 week check on Monday. Now wondering how I am going to fit in a run apart from the weekend. E is an evening cluster feeder. I haven't tried her on a bottle yet, but plan to try and do so next week. If she takes it then I might be able to leave her with my OH, but at the moment I go for my bath for half an hour directly after feeding her in the evening and she tends to wail until I come back. My Oh is getting stressed out by this, so not sure I can go out for half an hour run and then have bath/shower, if she is unhappy. Early evenings and Mornings are a no no as need to spend time with A. Any ideas?

Vicksta you could go for a half hour run, then feed E, then have a shower. Its a bit icky I know... just an idea. The evening cluster feeding might well settle in the next couple of weeks anyway... Hope you manage to get something sorted out.
Fab running mummyV, I know times are all relative to ourselves, but I'd kill for a 25:54 parkrun!

Remy is also a cluster feeder (still!), he also never actually goes to sleep before 12.00 midnight!!!! But I do go out twice in the week, I feed just before I go, express a feed and then my hubby usually stalls Remy by giving him a bath etc which he takes nice and easy, then has the bottle and is usually quite happy being rocked in his chair before I get back. Both my running clubs are fairly local so Im out for a maximum of 2.5 hours usually....hope you can work something out Vicksta
Thanks Vickster, I am going to try again this week and maybe in the future will be kind to myself and do a flat course for a morale boost

Thanks for the advice, V and V. Well, I got out the door for half an hour and jeez that was hard. Slower than when I was 6 months pregnant. Felt so fat and unfit (which I am to be fair) but at least it's a start. Eloise took about 30 ml of expressed milk while I was out, which was good. Have to see how often I can do an evening run, but will try my best.
