Hi Feebee... I am using the c25k app which is a run/walk programme for your phone which cuts into whatever you're listening too and tells you what to do - I like the structure of it, saves me thinking at all (brain fried from lack of sleep). It goes from 90second run intervals on day one to 5k after 8 weeks of going three times a week. As I'm only 9weeks pp and breastfeeding too following the app also stops me doing too much too soon and allows my body to adapt slowly. I'm running without my son for now as it's my time to clear my head as soon as my husband gets home - I have my running kit on before he's in the door and I get out before either of us have time for second thoughts ![]() |

Hi FeeBee and welcome. I think a gentle programme to return is best, for me personally i like booking a race a few mths away to have something to focus on. When my babies are 6mths plus I like baby jogging (usually once a week only, regardless of weather), I always bring raincover and layers for the baby so you should be ok as long as you dress them same as you would for a long walk. But i do think joining a running club has been the best thing ffor me, for both sanity and company and of course for the added benefit of getting fit ![]() Dieting can wait. Forever lol. I am way too heavy still but trying not to think about it. Can't expect miracles after 3 kids |

Hi all, not been on here in ages now my LO is playing more and feeding less, ESP as I'm working full time. But I need your help. Some of you might have seen my blog post. My best friend has gone missing, her baby was born 1 week before mine and we think she has some severe pnd, she could be anywhere by now, so please read this article, share on facebook& twitter if possible and keep an eye out for her. news.sky.com |

Well done mummyV. Lurking here, planning on waiting until 6 week check to re-start running but I can see myself being tempted to start earlier this time as recovery has been so much better. |
