Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I have an idea for the main event race, but it's just from the map at present. 5-10miles of mixed surface running.

Other races as required: Poss a 5k. There's a good track we can book for track running.

If you're not running an events then we will need helpers - every marshall a mini Fetchpoint. :)

Other Saturday afternoon activiites could include coaching, talks on nutrition, race strategy etc. debates....

On day two current thinking is to have morning sessions arranged with local groups like the hash or orienteering club. Haven't approached them yet so no guarantees.

It's all about what you lot want. Tell us and we'll do our best to put it on.

:)

Ogee - There is no way we are going to organise a marathon. However there is an LDWA event we could talk to close to Loughborough on the sunday if there is enough interest...

18th & 19th September, Loughborough.

Here's the detail so far: http://www.fetcheveryone.com/fetchstock.php

In summary:

Running (a race, proper course and all that), a bit of running-related stuff like maybe lectures, coaching sessions, physios, a nice dinner, a shedload of isotonic shandy and maybe a dance off and a bit of bare knuckle boxing, bedtime, then some gentler running-based activities the following morning, then maybe lunch.

If you're up for it, join the group below for an fmail update when we have more details.
