Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Did you avoid them, MM?
First day back at work and I wasn't tempted by the box of Milk Tray in the staffroom. It will be more of a test tomorrow when it's a proper day instead of training.

Well done GM.

Weight has crept up a bit while I have not been running, so this should be helpful for me.

I'm taking all the unwanted food gifts in to work tomorrow for the staff room - Panettone (yuch) quality street, tin of biscuits etc. I don't need to go the the staff room for coffee, so hopefully by the time I do go back up there they will have all gone :)

I did have a couple but that was all and I resisted the chocolate birthday cake that I brought my son.

Hello folks - bit late to the party as restricting Fetching in work hours (I'd better type fast!)
summary
- didn't weigh in over Xmas and let things slide in December. Weight on 2nd Jan best for while???
- struggling with the total mismatch in effort put in vs what the scales say over the last 3 months or so
- fallen out of love with mfp, but it did stop afternoon snacking
- lots of xmas treats left over but they have long shelf lives so one here and there is ok
- having job issues, life will have to be more frugal if things really go cleavage vertical, so meal planning and home cooking and wastage avoidance are in play - good for wallet and waist!
- Dreading the menopause - my current state has a lot to do with contraceptive hormones taken during my 20's that I wish I'd known were making me depressed and tired and sluggish and it wasn't 'how I am'
- lots of races I want to perform well at - weight = time
- 40th birthday in less than 3 months. Not that fussed but would be nice to be slim!
- wedding in less than 6 months and a dress is apparently required.
- I lost 5kg last year. Same again would have me nearing 'normal' BMI, if that's what matters
- good comments on how I look are really nice and I'd like more.

Best of luck all!
