New starts Sarah, these two Holiday weeks are so hard to totally control and I am just plotting my return.. pre holidays I had really got going and understood the plan much better than in the past
I want to start afresh from tomorrow and give it a real go. It will help me with some key things like not drinking coffee heavy with sweetners, not eating biscuits and stuff that lay around the office and definately get my drinking in check. Ditch red wine and lager and only drink gin or even better drink only water!
Onwards and upwards, small positive steps

Great stuff, nsc That's a lot of walking, DT!
I keep putting off trying a run. Will definitely do it tomorrow though, promise. I have downloaded a couch to 10K training programme which will take me nicely to a local 10K I've entered at the end of March (assuming my knee behaves). There is lots of walking in it but I think that's probably a good thing, given my recent injury record.
My weigh-in at SW last night was horrendous. Line drawn and back on plan today. Must stay positive. I CAN do it.

Hi everyone!
Am back again - am being so rubbish at this!
Am trying again to get back into this running lark - doing week 1 of couch to 5k (which makes me feel like a total beginner, but also like I'm achieving something). I have sort of half earmarked the Ilkley half marathon in July - but am a bit scared!

CAN is over the whole year, and also we CAN apply the whole 80/20 rule
Hey Treacle!
All goals are CAN.. all it takes is for us to apply ourselves and we go back to focus on positives
This weekend is about lots of rest and planning and hope to run swim and spin at some stage

M is for?! Silly mobile entered too soon!
I was going to comment on the weigh in.. I almost didnt join a weight club for that very reason as I find mentally the up down up down is just too negative.. however Sarah I will work with you on this one as I CAN already see up down up down as the way ahead and in the long run more downs than ups
My first few weeks will definately be up down, and I have a bowel condition that means that eating more veg and bean based food gains water and gas and my digestion changes so I retain weight.. what I did notice in the three weeks before christmas was eventually this comes round.. and I felt better.. so I must go with up Down up Down and just carry on regardless
Plus I have a very sociable January ahead and life is also for living so that 80/20 comes back in
Race events are great motivators
I am trying to convince Andrew that he really really really wants to go to the Chapel Beer Festival because I want to do the Chilly Chase again! Lol. A cool small trail event and at the end you get your pint glass and entey free it is at a working rail museum so no driving needed and be interested to see if they have any no-alcohol ones this year
CAN Thats all we need to think 😊
