Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Arrived at ness to a very quirky campsite on a croft. Stunning area. Already seen a short eared owl from the van.

Had a brilliant 3 nights at a stunning site in Somiedo. A couple of other seasoned campervaners from Netherlands and France were saying it’s the best they’ve stayed in. I have to say that for me it’s very high up there - mountains all around, peaceful and very good showers! Lots of running and walking options too.

We’re off back to the coast today, to Ribadeo.

Dumb question.

Should our 2005 plateVW T5 have central locking?

It's just spent nearly 2 weeks (and many £££) at the local VW dealer to have the driver side lock fixed, but still the sliding side door doesn't lock.
There is no key hole on that door.

The passenger side cab door is manual, you have to lock it from the inside before you leave. The back tail gate has its own keyhole.

I've been up n down the forums, and they mention central locking, but I am confused!!

We’ve got a 2005 (54) plate T5 and that has central locking. It can be troublesome, however. I seem to remember having to have the passenger door fixed so it would automatically lock.

Thanks, that helps. We might need to speak to the garage again...
