Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Our first motorhome was a swift. Lovely looking vans, but leak like a sieve. Be very wary of dampness in them. Or better still, go for a continental van that are built much better.

Our first choice of lay-by was full last night, so we camped elsewhere. In a bit of a hollow, so not much in the way of photo ops.

Stopped for this on the way home this morning though, after a very disturbed night with a dog who seems to hate being in the van 😕

Oh right, thanks for the advice. Will keep an eye on that.

It does have to be under 3.5T though. Passed my test March 1997. They changed the rules just 2 months before that.

Good luck with the hunt RR

Have finalised our trip today and booked the last sites.

Now to keep fingers crossed as back of the van currently looks like this and we leave on 5th September 😂

Anyone know anything about Thule retractable steps? ours has been a little unreliable since we got it, made worse by freezing it solid 18 months ago and now it really isn't well :(
