We had a chilly night, and I’m likely going to write off the contents of the fridge. The van went down to 12 degrees overnight so I was popular I won’t be able to get gas today as we’re in a field waiting for a race this afternoon. Oops.

The heating had decided to ignore the low setting and just kept getting warmer so we turned it off. Am very glad we had gas to put it back on first thing in the morning. Waking up to <10c or so in my tent was normal - I seem to have got a bit softer since we got the van! Looking at gas usage this weekend, I think we'd get about a week out of our set-up - as long as it's not below freezing outside. Do need to find somewhere to fill it up now though writes gas on todo list

(Although having to be towed out of a muddy rut wasn’t much fun… probably the easiest tenner that chap made, but it was the only note I had)

With hindsight I should have just parked in the car park next to the field like a few others did - although it said no overnight parking.
