I think Calor keep the deliveries going as much as they can to tourist areas like South Devon (which of course means that supplies are run down pretty quickly too!), so we can usually get a refill within a few days. Having said that, I always have a full bottle in reserve anyway, so we have a reasonable buffer.

I suspect the Trangia will remain as a backup My one and only (American) motorhome, many years ago, had an lpg tank which we filled at normal petrol stations. I thought it was a great system.

I expect we are going to experience a whole manner of shortages for all sorts of things.

I would change, but the cupboard for the gas in my conversion won’t fit anything bigger. It’s not all that easy to come across, but I’ve got two cylinders, so all being well I’m never desperate to find a refill.
