Agree some of the anti democratic comments are shocking. Democracy means you don't always get what you want!

Single-issue referendums are a terrible way to set policy.

The majority have spoken although both sides heavily focussed on the negatives of the other instead of the positives. A lot of scare-mongering took place during the referendum which was not helpful when many people were confused about which way to vote.
At least everyone got to have a say in the country's future instead of relying on your local MP to cast his or her vote in Parliament.

It's top draw a significant proportion of those that voted to leave have in fact voted to lose their job

I've been accused of treason! Somehow I reckon that's worse than being called a fuckwit.
Also apparently, according to Farage I have no dignity, and am somehow abnormal.
Last referendum we had on constitutional reform was on the electoral system.
The first general election we had after we voted against change showed what a stupid idea this was.
I stand by my statement about exactly who has put us in the shitter. If there aren't 1.25 million racists and fuckwits hidden somewhere in amongst the 17,410,742 I'd be most surprised.
If you're neither racist, nor a fuckwit, then there's no need to be concerned by my remarks, as you've clearly taken the time to vote based on all the policies.

No abuse to leavers here from me. EU needed reform, acted shamefully over Greece, acted like it didn't have to be more transparent and more democratically accountable. Merkel saw Cameron in trouble, offered him nada. Cameron - didn't have to call this referendum, I despise him and Osborne, will be glad now he's gone. He was trying to ensure a permanent Tory majority and now everything exploded.
Article 50 not triggered as a result of resignation though, which is good. I worried about a slim remain 51 remain 49 leave stoking further paranoia, and hatred. Now the leavers have to put up or shut up. Show us your cards. Stop economic meltdown. Make Britain better for leaving. Are you up to it? Because if not , the ballot box will be used to punish you sooner than you think.

The most reasonable statement on the result is from a Canadian, not stopped everyone's pensions being affected by the falls in the markets

What a fuck up. The right is in command now, and will soon be flexing its muscles across the rest of Europe. The post-war liberal democratic consensus is falling apart. A disintegrating EU will not make Europe a safer place.
Those of us who know our history will be scared about what that means.
