Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

If there's a told you so, it won't be smug as we'll all suffer. In fact it's likely to be angry.

BTW, we're no longer 5th largest economy in the world. Following the FTSE crash, we're already down to 6th - behind France...

The best predictor of voting out is to be old and convinced that not liking foreigners doesn't make you a racist.

Unfortunately this campaign has shades of the the vitriol associated with the Scottish independence referendum...

Not all 'Leave' voters are / were 'racists', 'bigots', or possibly even motivated by immigration at all...

Not all 'Remain' voters thought the EU was next to God...

We now need to pull together to ensure the country (UK) negotiates the best deals and prove that we CAN stand proud outwith the eU-bloc.

I am constantly surprised at how pro-EU the Scottish electorate are (supposedly), I would have thought that having full control of fisheries policy would have been a bigger drive for 'out'.

(or was the Scottish vote a tactical effort to trigger another referendum...?)

Just seen Boris come out of his house to speak to the media. A shouting mob prevented it. Democracy in action.
