Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

extra pockets great for said balls, dog bags and treats :) win win

I loved ice skating as a kid, I was never at the level of your daughter bja (although my parents had high hopes, they met as they both loved ice skating but all I wanted to do was play ice hockey they looked to have much more fun)

I skated a lot as a teenager as well - but only recreationally. I carried on into my 20s because a) a new rink opened up quite near where I lived and b) Torvill and Dean were doing their thing around that time.
I found my skates in the loft just the other day - I don't know what to do with them now I doubt I will ever skate again (or at least not on a regular basis as there is no rink near us) but they were such a big part of my growing up I can't bear to part with them

I skated until late teens only really stopped as the rink closed, I would love to do it again. My childhood memories were fab going to the rink, it had a leaky roof so often fell in a puddle of water. The best bit was always the cheese and onion pasty on the way back to the car, there has never been on as good as they were. I can still remember it.

I'm like that with my guitars and amps and other musical stuff Baroness. Although 'growing up' in my case more like reaching age of forty.

Gosh this thread moves quickly!
Skort - covers the belly and backside :)
Flanci ones have longer legs that contain flabby thighs and stop them rubbing/chafing, longer leg shorts are few and far between
^ neither of those are needed by the dino, so I assume the attraction is *pockets* :)

I have the very bright desert flowers (?) one you temped me with last year V'rap, but it's a bit tight at the moment so I bought a plainer day of the dead - fancy shorts, black skirt one a size bigger.

beetroot you can keep, if it appears on my plate I can et it if there's enough vinegar otherwise nope horrible and yes it does spoil the chocolate cake people insist on making with it.

I used to play ice hockey - we went to Streatham rink on a Friday afternoon in the 6th for for PE. I haven't skated for years though.

They were my last purchase too RH, I love Desert Flowers. Ran pass an old school friend on Sunday he sent a message to say I was a boquet of colour when I passed.

Agree it hides the lumps and bumps and the longer undershorts are perfect I just love the way they look

I love wearing a skort, always found them comfortable.

Love beetroot too as long as there is no vinegar involved.

My newt for today was taking a walk to see this beauty (have taken the walk before but they have never been there)

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
