My ex husband has a couple of Lucie Rie's, but they aren't the most interesting pots. I have focussed my collection, after our breakup, on promising young potters. It gives so much pleasure as at the same time as surrounding myself with beautiful, affordable ceramics, I am supporting the artists ☺️

I am thinking about having YET ANOTHER go at cracking crocheting this evening. I have got as far as digging out some wool and a crochet hook and putting them where I can see them. In the meantime I am off soon to see Popcorn and work on our Newt of ‘working through and with more suppleness in order to progress up the levels’. I’m not sure Popcorn aspires to ‘progress up the levels’ though.

The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.
