Spitting was described by the victim herself as "The protesters were leaning right over the railing and one of them grabbed my coat. "They were screaming abuse right in my face to the point that they were spitting in my face." So not actually being spat at. I think an egg is usually laughed off, isn't it? However, I find any aggression and threatening words or behaviour unacceptable and hope the police will follow it up approrpiately.

And any effort to implement the nonsensical tax cut bidding war that passes for policy discussion in this 'election' will hurt a large swathe of the population of the entire UK far more than a few eggs.
