It often takes me multiple goes to get it start loading. I think this is poorly designed. I have tried turning the strap out so there is no pressure on the cord but the slightest movement and it stops. With the socket facing my skin I guess it can get pretty sweaty which doesn't help. Model is an Apex2

It can be troublesome getting a decent connection when recharging though. I agree with the apparent clunky design but I suspect that this is due to the integrity of the socket given that it is used by swimmers too?
