Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Anyone else noticing odd shortages in the supermarkets?

The last week or so there haven’t been any strawberries in the 2 supermarkets I use, I’m going to have to try the farm shop for those.

My favourite fizzy drink is cream soda and I haven’t been able to find any of that for at least a month. I’m baffled why that should be.

FDNB - some manufacturers have cut down on the range of products they supply so it might be due to that?

If a contact tracer called me about an anonymous alleged 'contact', I personally would find it hard to shut-down my life for a fortnight.

I guess that I could just about cope from a mental health perspective if I could get outside a couple of times a day whilst not endangering anyone. Luckily, I could do that.

I don't get the contact tracing without some form of app.
The only people I have contact with are my family - anyone else is socially distanced. I could say I stood in the q at Aldi - but I wouldn't be able to tell anyone who else was there. I might wave at a neighbour or have a chat at opposite ends of extended dog leads.

Is the idea to cover going back to work?

name the people in your office sort of thing?
