Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

It was so shit and she was so worried about covering the rent anyway she seems a bit “whatever” about it. She was shielding as she had a kidney replacement a few years ago I presume if she had been in they would have at least spoken to her

TMW, fingers crossed for a negative test result, and hope you feel better soon.

Dipps, that’s rubbish, your poor friend :-( Bad enough situation anyway, but compounded by informing her by text :-(

Dipps I have buffs and so does my wife - I really was asking for friend(s) who don’t. If front line staff can’t get masks how can Joe Public get them?

Anyone wondering why us lot in Cornwall are still being a bit touchy about tourists in the lockdown, need look no further than this headline page for explanation:

cornish-times.co.uk

I live 2 miles from there and run up there regularly. The camper vans are back parking overnight in all the "secret" spaces. Seven of them counting in one passing place. I'm sure all fetchies are equally as appalled as I am, it is only the few. And yeah tourists might only be from 20-30 miles up the road too, but still it helps keep anti-outside sentiment bubbling away here (which sadly doesn't need too much stoking a lot of the time).

All that dislike of outsiders makes me want to go down there to wind them up. We are one people. The rules are the rules, however, and it is clear that staying overnight is not allowed.
