I wouldn't. A strong positive on a rapid test along with symptoms suggests you still have a high viral load and are still infectious. Not sure why you'd want to get covid (or any other virus) inside your instrument either. |

I still can't believe poll below out of 276 reapondents shows 36% never had Covid. Surely everyone had it at least once! Hope better soon RB. ![]() |

And I should add, I've never shown symptoms either.

Just updated my answer @HappyG(rrr), although no PCR test to prove it, the multiple LFTs and symptoms were enough, although I was a maybe before anyway.

I just updated my answer too as I had Covid twice last year but this thread had probably quietened down by then.

I'm pretty sure I've never had it, never once felt fluey or ill in the last 5 years, for which I'm very grateful.

I don’t think I have had Covid, used to play at testing with LFTs and they were all a bit random, once tested positive after throwing up with food poisoning. Still, haven’t had anything other than a sniffle since a bad flu in 2019 that knocked me out for weeks. Also time for full disclosure - I’m probably the only person on here who never had a covid jab. More from sheer laziness than anything else.

I wasn't feeling very ill the first time and I felt a bit smug sailing through it. However, second dose of Covid a month later and I was really poorly. Could never remember feeling so ill. 🤒 |

I’ve only knowingly had covid once. It wasnt nice. That was about three years ago and since then I haven’t had so much as a sniffle. Probably jinxed myself now.
