The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Apparently management want to ‘rebrand’ us (a local government service), which appears to mean a new logo. I’m sure that will solve everything.

I don't enjoy office festivities very much. My firm has just announced the date of the office Christmas part for 2020 and 2021. They are both on the Saturday after my birthday. I'm planning to go away for the weekend for the next couple of years...

Our company got it right this year. This afternoon all 75 of us went to a local pub for a three course meal paid for by the company and during normal working hours. You sat where you wanted so had a decent pub meal while chatting to people you were happy to be with.

Please be aware that we have contractors on site today working in the Glass walkway on the automatic doors.

As always, please take care if you are walking in this area. We are apologise for any disruption during these works, hopefully the doors will be operational again soon.

Essential Roofing Maintenance

There is essential roofing maintenance being carried out on the east side of the building this week. We are aware that the fumes and noise etc. could be causing some disruption. If this is the case, please feel free to use alternative working space around HQ. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
