Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

That sounds more realistic for Joe. I couldn't see sub-48 being on for him, particularly at this time of the year.

You need to set up a telescope Simon and given some good vis you won't need to leave the house to see him 😀

He's theoretically in view at the moment as he's heading up to Grasmoor from Coledale Hause :-D

Is anyone thinking/planning a BGR attempt 2021? I'm contemplating it, sort of, kind of, maybe, probably. . .

dot-watching for me. Though a bit of road support wouldn't go amiss assuming I could get a pass out to do it :)

rp - maybe.

It was to be this year, but a combination of injury at the end of 2019, picking up Covid (in particular what seems to be becoming known as "long Covid") and having my strength and endurance shattered, the whole state of the country and not being able to get on the route made it a non-starter.

Trying to decide whether to have an autumn attempt next year, or wait for 2022, as I have other plans for spring. All is on the assumption I ever get my endurance back.
