Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I like tutti frutti and I like George Clark :)
I'm inbetween marathons and this week has a few effort runs which seems a good idea - lower volume, more effort :)

I'm giving Bread up (or seriously reducing the amount I eat - which can sometimes be the out put of a small bakery)

I try to limit myself to 2 slices of bread per week. Most weeks I fail :)
3 miles churned out in the rain.

Don't think I could manage to give up bread.

I've parkrunned. It was good.

Last summer I cut down to bread at only one meal per day. I found that quite tricky, but also good to find alternatives to eat. I also tried rye bread, which isn't so 'starchy' (to borrow a phrase my mum would likely use!).

I think it helped me lose a bit of weight for my autumn marathon and maybe feel a little better digestively.

Nice trail run for me today, probably my first proper hilly effort since London M.

Went to parkrun with the intention of giving it some welly, but the ground was quite greasy underfoot so I eased off a bit.

Easy 8 miles to Guildford...meeting hubby at the bike shop! We needed a tube for the mountain bike and wanted to see if my hopefully new bike to be was there yet...due Monday or so. My other bike was stolen at the end of March. :(
