Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

I hope yesterdays interval session went ok Lesley!

Sorry to hear that the inclement weather prevented this mornings run Steve.

Thanks, I'm sure that these regular farmers walks are paying dividends.

We were very lucky this morning to complete our interval session on the gravel track in the forest, before the heavy rain and winds started.

I ran with the Wednesday Group, and we did 4 x 30, 45, and 60 seconds with jog back recoveries. I'm pleased to say that we all (just 4 of us) ran quicker than the previous session back in May.

Another very good session hillstrider, quality over quantity again.

Well done everyone. Far too hot for me to run outside here. Plenty of walking. Did a 5k treadmill today. Better than nothing.

It's just like running hillstrider ;-)
The only thing is you don't actually go anywhere despite covering distance.

It was good HS, short but fine although I maybe could have pushed a little harder. The heavy rain started just as we finished so did get a bit wet running home. We had a lot of rain last night, the river was pretty high today.

Sounds like another good session HS.

Hope it's better weather tomorrow for you Steve.

Don't blame you from running inside LL.

The dreadmill is always a last resort for me.

But it’s 25 and full sun here at 7:00 I am on holiday and not prepared to get up any earlier. 😴

😂 I actually did think about what you would have done FF! I'm afraid my sterner attitude got beaten!!
What a great session hs and what a fine result compared with May, your structured training pays off.
Good alternative LL but like hs I've never mastered them. And heck, it's your time to enjoy a holiday with some sunshine.
Pushing a little harder is a great afterthought Lesley! Probably better to be able to think that than to over cook it.
Perfect weather this morning but kept to roads, unusual for me but I reckoned the trails would be sodden. I enjoyed myself doing 3.3 miles and this month's total will be my best mileage of the year.
