Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I've sent a link to someone of one of routes which is public anyway.

How does he upload it to his garmin?

Read this one - although it contains no useful information, it goes on longer than you'd think for a complete waste of time but at least spares you a winkie at the end, should you get that far. PS, I dunno. Sorry.

If he goes to the page that the route is on there should be instructions on how to upload it to a Garmin in a little box on the right hand side, "Export for Garmin Forerunner".

This is what the box says:
Export for Garmin Forerunner
1. Click to generate a Garmin course file.
2. Save the file to your computer.
3. Open Garmin Training Centre, and choose File > Import Courses...
4. Import the file you've just saved.
5. Make sure your Forerunner is connected, and choose "Send To Device".
6. Go outside and get a signal.
7. On your Forerunner, choose Training > Courses, pick your course, and "Do Course".

What Becca said. Its on the right when you are looking at the route, underneath the picture of the post box.
Took me ages to spot it when I wanted to do the same thing.
