Gus - yeah, gutted, I'd booked accomm for this year already - but there was a diary conflict with the OH. I've asked if they can defer my entry to next year, but not heard back yet.

This could be a good game, through in random Scottish words and see if our foreign frinds can translate....I will throw in one of my Granny's favourite words 'yonder'

I found one that I thought was Scottish but I discovered our Northern English friends use too - mithering. Would Yorkshire, Cumbria and Northumberland like to join the Yes referendum?! ;-)

You should always learn some basics of a language before visiting a new country.

I really hope that people don't vote yes. It would be awful!!
