Some of the models will also drain at different rates depending on what features they have/you use - playing music is a battery killer And solar will top up the battery a bit. However they all have the battery manager so you can tell the watch what services you need and how long it needs to last for, and it will manage its power usages / GPS sampling accordingly. I assume there's a point where it becomes unusably "managed" but I've never hit it.
