Pre-run fueling: Cereal and greek yogurt

Pre-run: Looking forward to a run, but worried about the heat. Could tell my legs felt tired from yesterday’s parkrun.

During: Bloody awful! Was really struggling by about halfway. Parkrun/heat combo I’m sure, but also didn’t sleep well. Quite a lot of walking on inclines in the second half. Even sat on a bench at one point. Really bad tummy cramps for the last 3 miles or so, desperate for the loo. Skipped myrtles and recovery drink to get back to mums asap for the loo!

Post-run: Really wiped out. Fell asleep after a shower. Have eaten and drunk plenty now, but pretty worried about driving back up the M6. Might have to get a can of Red Bull (yuk!)
