Oscar's Everyone Day

Sunday 23rd June 2024
In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".

Sadly we lost Oscar in March, so I'd like to dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.
You can still access the old version of this page. I will shortly post a blog to explain some of the changes - but you can send me feedback to report problems.

Notes & Comments

Edinburgh Marathon - Course measured long.

After the first 10-15miles decided to change plan and just survive the marathon due to the weather late 20's, so slowed over a minute per mile. Found the run hard work, but just had to stay with it mentally chipping away at it. They ran out of water from 16-22, so not fun really as no shade, and felt quite sunburnt. Just dug in as was on for a P.B, until I had to make a decision to go to the loo, decided not to, but then nature took it out of my hands at mile 24.6 and had to stop for about a 2 min break and a dive over a wall and down a ditch into the undergrowth. Please to finish just over a min off my P.B, a little gutted that the weatehr was so hot as wanted to have a good go. Finished the race and was all pins and needley with weird fuzzy head! Winter marathons next me thinks!
Please wait... saving your change.
