Notes & Comments

Humbling way to remember that you can’t blag a marathon on no training. Made a point to run to heart rate if I couldn’t hit a pace I liked - in the heat HR was sky high from 2 or 3 miles - so took it steady.

Not that I had any choice. Progressive slowing reflected lack of conditioning and general tightening of everything. Had to stop and stretch twice but head was fairly together throughout
