Hit a pothole on 9 mile ride which broke a spoke and meant I arrived really late. The race started and I couldn't find the registration so set off without a number. I thought I'd be able to run though for field but when we turned right onto the path it was too congested to make any progress so just had to bide my time. When it cleared on the second lap I did try to pick up the pace but it felt really hard so eased off to save myself for a longer run I needed to do later
