My planned conservative start didn't happen. Calf muscles started to hurt around mile 5. By mile 6 my legs were aching and the guts were complaining. By mile 7 my head was feeling weird - probably what v'rap describes as her woo woo head! Lots of walking in the second half. Think I need more specific half training!
