robrea Newmarket 10k. Decided to have a go at this event while I am going well. New race for me so I was going in blind, all I heard was it's a tough last 3k. Only had a 400 or 500 metre warm up due to the heat, set off at a decent pace, was about 10/15 seconds behind the two leaders for virtually all the way round, Firouzi led with Harvey tucked in behind. Harvey broke clear at the top of the long drag at around 8k, I then closed in on a frustrated Firouzi but the line just saved him! 3k in 10-07, 5k in 16-45 and 5mile in 26-55 all good!
