Oscar's Everyone Day
Sunday 22nd June 2025In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".
Sadly we lost Oscar in March 2024, so now we dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.

About this parkrun
Flat, good parking with adjacent toilet (Roselea FC) close to the start. Slightly rough underfoot but a nice course with out and back over a short distance with a large loop. Very friendly. Great cafés in Montrose. A gem.ZenTaoPlurp 30th Mar 2019
Flat, fast, mixed surface (bike trail, tarmac, grass). In summer runners go to Charleton Farm cafe (closed in Winter). Montrose Tri Club usually have a skills & drills session for an hour beforehand, open to all, starting at 0820. High quality prep.

Did this when up here for a celebration in Jan2019. Cleared the head after too much Scottish partying. Don’t forget parkruns start at 930am in Scotland.

Flat, mixed terrain, balloon on a string shaped course. Basically an out and back section then a big loop.
