Mansfield Half Marathon

cleggsy This was my first half marathon. Tough course with what seemed like a hill around every corner. Great organisation, great crowds clapping as you went by. Family cheering as i entered running track made it very special. Hope to do it all again in 2008 with a quicker time.

Super Kev In 2007 the race organisers decided to change the course and I heard it would be just as tough as previous years. The weather was perfect for running. The first half of the course was relatively flat with a number of down hills. After that there was hil after hil after hill. It was a challenging half marathon but really enjoyable. I would certainly run it again.
