Cookie A 10m PW! I was hoping for 1.10 but by the 2nd and 3rd miles it was clear that being inside 1.15 was the target and maybe beating last year's time. Through 6 in 44.30 but then struggled from there. I was happy to get to the finish tbh. Very well organised event. Great credit to Harlow RC.

Heavyweight Last minute decision to do this race as I had to take a friend to Stansted for an early flight. Was on target to PB until the last couple of miles when the wheels fell off slightly. Excuses - getting up at 3:30, doing a 13 mile lsr yesterday & the heat. Very well organised race - it seemed there were marshalls every 100yards or so & all were very supportive. Race went through some pleasant areas and even some nice sections with some very welcome shade. Start and finish at an extremely well appointed sports centre & last 200m on a athletics track. I am fairly sure I counted 6 drinks stations all of which were needed.

Robinp So hot with a slow start for myself. Could not make up time to get a PB on this occasion. Very well organised with an excellent start and finish area's. Highly recommend this race to anyone for next year. Just a shame it was too hot for the runners but I'm sure the spectators were loving the heat.
