Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

kstuart A hilly course so will not PB arounmd here. UPDATE: It is indeed a hilly course ;) Pleased with my time being it was wet and windy as well as bliddy hilly. Annoyed my Garmin was misbehaving so i couldn't see how much climbing there was as it died around 2-3 miles in. I think i'll ignore the Full marathon as one lap of that is sufficient.

LC I did not expect to do well at this race as I am rubbish at hills, but as it was a part of my club championship I thought I would have a go. I was pleasantly surprised with my time of 1:41:55 & my 2nd place in the ladies race too.

The weather was not kind to us at all. It rained heavily in the latter part of the race & it was quite windy in places. The course it a very scenic one & in a strange kind of way enjoyable too!!

The hills are big bad monsters, but the last down hill is dreadful, it kills your knees & your toes too. The course is a matter of survival, times are totally irrelevant.

We as a club had 9 people doing the Half & 2 doing the Full & we all thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. Rod the organiser is a star, well done.
