lildude Relatively good race. I think I'm a little on the tired side as I started feeling a heavy towards the end, though this could be due to the hills. The second half of the race is definitely more undulating than the first. It was also quite humid with no water station to cool down. According to my watch, I just missed my sub-32 goal, but I'm waiting for the official results (I'll update this with the official time) to see if luck is on my side and I managed to just dip under 32mins. I'm not holding my breath :-) I also tried racing on an Iskiate drink (Chia Fresca) taken 1.5 hours before the start. I'm not sure I felt any benefit from this, but I certainly felt a weight in my stomach, so I think I'll make sure I give it more time before racing next time I try this. UPDATE: Official results in: their time was the same as mine. 32:03. I did however come 20th out of 312.
