MAG Offical race Gun time is 42.26. Offical Race Chip time is 42.26 (the same). My watch said 42:20:87. 6 seconds difference. I started with/next to Vince Mcgowan and Paul Nipress. Vince Gun: 40.56 Chip 40.56 Paul Gun40.45 Chip 40.39 - 6 seconds difference. I suggest that Vince and I had a issue with our chips crossing the start line and they set the start time to the same as the people who set off first. As there is 6 seconds between Paul's gun time and chip time, and that matches the difference between Garmin and my time i am happy to have 40.21 as my race time. (Garmin 42.20.87) == updated gun time. The chip company gave me the same start time as Paul Nippress

mikep I know that both ankle and calf will cuase me problems on the hill off the Westwood and the rise before the Walkington junction. Hope tp be able to pick up speed off the golf course. WACA Enjoyed the race. Training for long distances off road leaves you struggling a bit on the roads but this was quite a nice run if effort can be construed as enjoyable. Well managed as usual, nice to see all the Pockites:-)
