Which I wasn't happy about, but not my business and didn't want to fight. He also knows my BF as an ex patient, though they haven't met recently. BF's ex is awkward, but not about me, as fr as I know.

It's fine for me to accept that the kids will come first in terms of emergencies when we've got things organised etc, esp as his ex is v last-minute with important things and recently dropped the kids on him for a week at about a day's notice. Luckily he's got flexibility and loves having his babies. I think he should have them in the main - the ex sounds chaotic with dubious priorities.

The house is strangely quiet after the chaos of my sister's. Nephew rampaging, QP in hot pursuit and my sister never sits still. Mostly good fun but it was quite exhausting. Nephew is at the cutest stage and I was very pleased he seems pretty at ease with us given we hardly ever see him.
