Solid long runs WW & Chris.

Fair enough Joe you run too much anyway 😉

Bournemouth 10 paced to perfection by 70 minute pacer and fellow club mate Jon Sharkey. Many thanks to him on a very windy day. Another big PB 😃

Well done huntsman.

Good long runs.

20.5 miles for me - total elevation gain 1055ft. Hilly!! Fast finish though after the hill at mile 19-20. Last half mile at 6.42min/mile pace and considering day after a race and very hilly route pleased with a 7.36min/mile average pace. I did have dodgy asthma today as well. Windy and had horrid brain freeze during freezing cold rain shower!

Well done huntsman and LouLou, 70 minute pb and 7.36 average for over 20 miles is really, really good going.

Your hilly is my "undulating" - I did 1046 ft climbing today with 10 miles flat and have marked it is relatively flat for round here! In fact this was my determined attempt to create a flat course with at least half of it on the complete level. It shows I might need to try and make things even flatter! Funny thing is, I don't go above 300m, and don't drop below 200m but it's those fecking little Cornish runty hills. We had beautiful sunshine throughout (sorry!)

Quite right Joe - this is a hobby which we're supposed to enjoy, so if you don't fancy it one day shouldn't be forcing yourself.

Good progress there Huntsman, can't argue with a PB :-)

Great long run pace there Lou and WW, especially given weather today !

21.7 for me at just over 8mm - got a good consistent 7 or 8 mile section at about 7:45 pace on the flat along the canal. Not bad considering February was my highest ever mileage in a month.

Looking forward to a non-running day tomorrow ;-)

Some nice hilly long runs there! Thought I'd be taking it easy with a flat as a pancake half mara along a canal... but I didn't factor in the headwind on the last leg, virtually blew me off my feet! 4:05/km going out, but more like 4:30/km coming home.

Gus - we essentially took in most of the templeton 10 hills - including going up the big hill it starts on in mile 19! I thought I was going to have to call for help to get out the bath just now! Great run with the guys but feeling it now!

Well done Hunstman

loads of great training being posted, our club put on a as many loops as you want day, about 4.25m a loop in and around the outskirts of Winchester, very nice indeed, till yesterdays 15 miles hit the legs on lap 4, I was hovering around 8:15 - 8:20 mm but tiredness hit along with the wall and fridge freezer in the last 4.25m and it hurt, dropped to 9's, still 17.66m done in 2:32:31, plan achieved... :-) 54.22m for the week

Will read back on posts once I am fed and warmed up, just over a minutes PB of 65:06 at the hilly and testing asswade 10. Didn't expect to be lining up beside Derek Hawkins and Ross Houston
