I’m sure the behaviourist will know what to do Roberto. The one I saw got to grips with our situation within a few minutes and I only had one meeting which made a huge difference.

I really hope so. He is such a lovely pup 99% of the time and I do really love him. I'm absolutely crushed today.

Big hugs Roberto. try not to blame yourself and think it's something you've done- dogs are not easy, there is so much conflicting advice about what's right and what's wrong, and every dog is different. really glad you're going to see a behaviourist, I'm sure they will be a good help (and have seen worse!)
I'm sorry if you've covered this before, i think you have, but have you definitely ruled out a medical problem/pain that's causing the behaviour?
think of the good times and try to stay positive- I'm sure things will get better soon x

Sorry MN, read your comment and had meant to reply. We have been the vets several times and he has had loads of check ups etc. This has been going on for so long and have discussed it on a few occasions with them, including before and then the day he got his implant.
Behaviourist is coming tomorrow night. Just had a really bad night again after him being lovely all day. Fortunately got it on video but it's really horrible watching it back.

Hope it goes well Roberto.
My sister is on her way up to stay with her 2 dogs. We’ve not seen each other for 18 months due to the pandemic so that’s exciting! We’re not sure how all the dogs will cope together - ready with plenty of treats and means to separate off areas if needed. Her older dog (around 7-8 years) isn’t keen on entire/non castrated males. Hoping he copes with Albie (and Albie’s adolescent bounciness)!
We’ll take them for a short walk when they arrive.
😬🤞

We always throw all the dogs (not literally ) into the garden when visiting dogs arrive so they have some space to greet each other

Felt really positive after behaviourists visit last night. Lots of little things to change and do.
We know it's not going to be a quick fix. But it got worse again tonight and really hurt my partner again. She isn't as tall as me so he can get right at her hands, even if she holds them up higher. And he just went back at her a few times. I don't know how long she can take it for.

Did the behaviourist say to hold her hands up Roberto? I've always felt that having your hands up is an encouragement to the dog to jump up. Forgive me if I'm misunderstanding and I can well appreciate why your partner would want to keep her hands out of harm's way!
